Many of you have heard of the website DMV Savvy since we did a story on it a few months ago, well that site is apparently no more. The site was co-founded by University of Maryland student/alum Donald Whitaker and appeared to be heading for success just a few short months ago but as you notice today, the link is dead and the site vanished into thin air. From what we hear from our sources, Donald Whitaker had some major disagreements with his co-founder Sheriff Taiwo which later led to the two splitting ties and almost 90% of the DMV Savvy team leaving with the latter of the two co-founders. Taiwo who was responsible for 100% of the site’s initial development released the site’s successor which is called DMV Unplugged.
This split left DMV Savvy down and DMV Unplugged standing seemingly victorious. You can check out DMV Unplugged here : DMV Unplugged.
Word has it that Donald Whitaker plans to revamp DMV Savvy in the coming weeks. We do not know if this is true but it would be interesting to see what comes of this clash. We will keep you posted as the battle heats up.
